Applications :-
Thermal Pre-stressing of Turbine Chest Bolts in Electrical Power Generation Plant.
Pre-stressing Bolts in Machine Housings.
Design: -
Elmatic Bolt Heaters are designed to satisfy the rigorous CEGB.
12/64/00 standard, ensuring optimum life and are designed for 110 volt operation.
Stainless steel sheathed tubular sheathed wire heating elements are fitted inside a stainless steel outer tube and sintered into position.
This provides a good thermal path and high resistance to shock loads.
A robust stainless steel terminal box with substantial handle is fitted, which includes a Harvey Hubbell Inlet.

Advantages and Options
Sintered design resists damage to element if handled when hot. Sintered design provides an even heat distribution around the heater diameter.
Non standard diameters and lengths are readily accommodated.
The cold and hot length can be varied during manufacture to suit the cap nut and bolt.
Elmatic offer flexible approach to the electrical connection.
Inlets or cables to customer requirements are available and our fabrication workshop is capable of a vast range of terminal box options.
Replacement blades are available if your Elmatic Bolt Heater has a serviceable terminal box and connection.
Our blades are completely interchangeable with those previously manufactured by Redring Industrial. |
