High Temperature "Replacement Element" Plate Heaters
Applications:- Extrusion Die Heads, Extruder Barrels, Hot Plates, Window Welding Machines,
Food Process Machinery, Catering Equipment Machinery, Adhesive Applications, Textile Machinery, Shoe Manufacturing
Machinery, Tee-Shirt Printing Machinery, Pipe Welding Equipment and many more engineering applications.....

Design :- Manufactured in Aluminium, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel construction,
these replaceable element plate heaters provide an alternative to a standard Cast Aluminium or
Aluminium Bronze Plate Heater. Utilizing a square section tubular sheathed heating element, which are renowned for their strength,
reliability and adaptability, these heaters are easily removable from the plate should a heater break down, allowing our customer to
replace the element only and not waste a complete cast in plate, keeping cost to a minimum, and quicker delivery time.
New features :- in the design of the “High Temperature Plate Heater” include the option of a minimum thickness
of 7mm standard thickness of 16mm - or thicker if required to suit customer specifications. Additional new features also
available are insulation incorporated within the plates reducing heat losses and energy costs.
For high temperature applications, our plate heaters have a louvered, stand off terminal box which reduces the heat around the terminal area.
Advantages :- The advantages of the “High Temperature Replaceable Element Plate Heater “ over the “cast in heaters”, are whilst maintaining the expected excellent heating performance, there are no pattern charges, saving costs. The replaceable heating element is a fraction of the price of a casting, saving costs. The availability of the square section heater is normally two weeks compared to the long delivery of a cast in unit reducing supply problems in case of a break down.
Working Temperatures :-
Aluminium maximum working temperature 300 deg C, watt density up to 25w sq inch (4w sq cm).
Mild Steel and Stainless Steel maximum working temperature 600 deg C.
watt density up to 35w sq inch (5.5w sq cm).
